Ms. Carty obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and a minor in Political Science from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, New York in June 2011. Her prior work experiences include a local commercial bank, where she worked directly out of high school in 2005 where she worked as a Teller, Personal Banking Officer and an Accounting Officer - a position she held until she left the bank in early 2012 to join the Commission.
In her current position at the Commission, Ms. Carty's portfolio of responsibilities includes Insurance, Company Management, Trusts and Money Services Business. Ms. Carty also works closely with the AML/CFT department.
